Recently the coat color I-locus test (H821) is added to the webshop for your dog. The test is also added to Combination package Coat color (H469) and Combination package Coat color and Coat type (H638).
The basis for your dog's coat color is affected by the two pigments eumelanin (black) and pheomelanin (red). The I-locus (MFSD12 gene) affects the expression of the pheomelanin (red) pigment, but has no effect on eumelanin (black) pigment. We would like to refer you to our page with more information about the inheritance of the coat color and coat type of your dog, click here for this information.
The breed package for the Australian Shepherd (H321) has also been expanded with the test Coat color Merle (partner lab) - H630 and the test Larynx paralysis (LP) - H641 is available for the Miniature Bull Terrier.
Are you missing a test within our range? Please inform us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will try to add it for you as soon as possible.
